Don't get me wrong. I love Stargate Atlantis. ANd the episode Whisper just blew me away, but there was a different feel to this season. Almost as if they started out so intense that they just had nowhere to go. Instead of building they just whacked you over the head right away and just kept whacking. <br /><br />The look of the show is much darker too. Did anybody else notice that?<br /><br />I do like the new leader. I didn't think I would as I still see him as the Doctor on Voyager but he seems to be doing fine. The writer's are easing him in nicely I think. Now if only they had done that with the rest of the season. Maybe drawn out Search and rescue...that episode just seemed rushed to me.<br /><br />I want Atlantis to stay because the character development on that show is fantastic and not many shows have that anymore. But I think some changes need to be made. Of course, I don't have any experience in the television world, only the minor backstage stuff I did for Channel One when they came to my high school all those years ago, but I do know what I like and what I don't. [Shrug] <br /><br />So does anyone know a site or anything dedicated to saving ATlantis? I would like to help out. I have so few shows I actually watch now, I want to keep the ones I do.<br /><br />Kit Katurn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:kitkatney:575Stargate Atlantis Season Finale2008-03-08T19:16:31Z2008-03-08T19:16:31ZOnce again I am left with a cliffhanger where a building blows up, and I have to wait however many months to see if they have killed anybody off and since I have already had the heartbreak of losing Carson, except for that damned teaser (grrr), and Elizabeth; i I find out any others are gone, I may have to, well, lets just say it won't be pleasant.<br /><br />LOL.<br /><br />I used to have several favorite shows so season finales weren't that hard because I always had something else to watch, but lately, my likes and moods have changed; and of course life interferes so the only show I really have time for right now is Stargate Atlantis, so all my pent up frustrations are aimed at them.<br /><br />Give me a week of curses and random mumblings and frantic searches for fan fiction, especially since I have discovered a hidden interest in Rodney McKay. What is it with me and liking the cocky, insulting ones? Because I also have a fascination with Dr. Cox from Scrubs and he can be a mean s.o.b.<br /><br />Anyways....<br /><br />Kit
